National Day of Prayer

National Day of Prayer

We are helping to bring groups together across Freeport and Walton County to publicly participate in this spiritually significant day and unite Christians in prayer for our country and community. As a member of the body of Christ, we would love for your congregation to be involved with us. We are setting up our committees now to determine what our observance will include this year. I want to assure you this will not be a political rally, nor critical or any person, but prayerful and Biblical. *I’ve attached a graphic for reference. *

As we begin our planning for this year, we welcome your suggestions and ask you to prayerfully consider speaking to us. I will be calling your office in the next week. Our goal is to have you identify someone we can talk to from your congregation. If you have any questions or would like to reach me, please call or email me— if I am unable to help, I will certainly get you in touch with who can. :)

I hope you will make this a matter of prayer, and that God will direct your heart. We look forward to assembling the Body of Christ to pray for our community and country. If you would like to learn more about the NDPTF, please visitwww.nationaldayofprayer.org.

Helicopter Egg Drop

The Windmills Easter Egg Drop, originally scheduled for this Saturday, April 12th, will now be postponed to Sunday, April 13th, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

This change has been made in order to allow the community to honor and pay respects to Deputy William May of the Walton County Sheriff's Office, whose services will be held on Saturday. As a community, we want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to attend and show support for our public officials.

To begin the event, Pastor Sam Brown will lead us in a community prayer at 2 PM on the Windmills stage in honor of Deputy William May. We invite all to join us in this moment of reflection before the festivities begin.

We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you all on Sunday, April 13th, for a fun-filled afternoon! Please refer to the post for the updated Easter Bunny arrival and egg drop times.
